IVF MEDICATIONS TO COST UP TO 85% LESS UNDER TRUMP RX;

AMERICANS FOR IVF APPLAUDS TRUMP ADMINISTRATION FOR HISTORIC STEP TO HELP WOULD-BE PARENTS

Washington, D.C. — With fertility treatment drugs discounted up to 85% under the newly launched Trump RX, Americans for IVF today praised President Donald Trump and Dr. Mehmet Oz for this groundbreaking initiative. For families struggling with the crushing financial burden of infertility, today’s announcement represents a long-awaited breakthrough.

Trump RX is expected to begin with a targeted list of medications, with fertility treatments among those receiving the largest discounts under the program. Americans for IVF views this launch as a critical step toward its broader mission of securing full insurance coverage and comprehensive access to fertility care nationwide.

“This is historic,” said Rabbi Moshe Margaretten, founder of Americans for IVF and Tzedek Association. “President Trump once again proved that when he makes a promise, he delivers. By including IVF medications—and giving them the deepest discounts of all—Trump RX offers immediate, life-changing relief to families who have been priced out of their dream of having children.”

Dr. Joshua Klein, an Advisory Board Member for Americans for IVF and a fertility doctor in New York, emphasized that infertility is a medical condition, not a luxury, and that medication costs are often the single biggest barrier to treatment.

“An 85% reduction in IVF drug costs is not symbolic—it’s transformational,” Dr. Klein said. “For many families, this is the difference between hope and heartbreak, between starting a family and giving up. President Trump and Dr. Oz understood that urgency and acted decisively.”

Americans for IVF noted that the inclusion of fertility drugs in Trump RX is particularly significant given the longstanding resistance and political headwinds surrounding fertility policy.

“That this happened at all, and at this scale, is extraordinary,” Rabbi Margaretten added. “Despite intense opposition and skepticism from powerful interests, the Trump administration pushed forward because it was the right thing to do. That kind of moral clarity and courage matters.”

Americans for IVF is hopeful this is a significant step forward toward fertility treatment being fully covered by insurance.

“This is real momentum,” Rabbi Margaretten said. “And it sends a clear message to families across America: you are seen, you are heard, and help is finally on the way.”
